Handmade ceremonies invite us to step out of the scripted, commercial, and hurried versions of weddings and funerals and instead return to something rare in todays culture, something real and human.

When we create our own ceremonies, from the ground up, with our hands, hearts, and communities, the result is more meaningful, more memorable, and more alive.

Handmade ceremonies honour the old ways of gathering: the shared work, the food, the storytelling, the tending of beauty.

They allow families and friends to step out of the scripted and commercial and instead to participate, to contribute and to weave something meaningful together.

Whether we are preparing for a wedding or honouring a life that has ended, these moments sit at the threshold of change. They deserve care, beauty and the labour of your hearts and hands.

Immersive, spacious, communal. Held at the House at the Edge of the Woods and in the ancient woodland I steward. A place to grieve in company, to rest, to make beauty, and to remember what holds you.
